Groundwater Monitoring

TerrAtlantic is responsible for monitoring groundwater quality at many sites in Atlantic Canada, including municipal wellfields, properties impacted by contaminant releases, and sites affected by acid rock drainage. Where required, water levels are monitored on a continuous basis by means of automatic dataloggers.

Typical Projects:

  • Preparation and implementation of the long-term monitoring plan for the South Fredericton aquifer, Fredericton, NB.
  • Monitoring of acid rock drainage impacts to surface and groundwater resources at 20 highway construction sites, southern and western NB.
  • Monitoring of groundwater quality at numerous contaminated sites across Atlantic Canada, one impacted by a 50,000 L gasoline and diesel release in northwestern NB.
