Groundwater Modelling

TerrAtlantic Engineering Limited has developed significant expertise in groundwater and contaminent fate and transport modelling.

TerrAtlantic utilizes its GIS capabilities to expedite the modelling process. Digital terrain data are assembled and processed in the GIS, and then transferred to the analytical or numerical groundwater models. Similarly, groundwater pathlines and other results of modelling are exported to the GIS for reporting purposes.

Typical Projects:

  • Wellfield protection and groundwater modelling for the City of Fredericton, NB.
  • Wellfield protection and groundwater modelling for the Town of Rothesay, NB.
  • Groundwater and contaminant modelling at the site of a major gasolline/MTBE release in Tignish, PEI.
  • Fate and transport modelling for a domestic fuel oil release, Cap-Pele, NB.
